[NOTICE] NOTICE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TRANSFER

LOTTE Daesan Petrochem Corporation (the “Company”) is pursuing a merger with Hyundai Chemical Co., Ltd. as part of the implementation of its business restructuring plan under the Special Act on Revitalization and Transformation of Enterprises. Through such merger, a new corporation, H&L Advanced Co., Ltd. (the “Merged Entity”), is expected to be established.
Accordingly, pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable laws and regulations, this Notice of Transfer of Personal Information (“Notice”) is provided to inform that personal information held and processed by the Company will be transferred as described below.

1. Reason for the Transfer of Personal Information
As a result of the merger between the Company and Hyundai Chemical Co., Ltd., the rights and obligations of the Company will be comprehensively succeeded by the Merged Entity. Accordingly, the controller responsible for managing personal information necessary for the continued operation of the relevant business and the performance of transactions and contracts will change.
Therefore, personal information that is essential to ensure the continuity and uninterrupted performance of existing business operations will be transferred to the Merged Entity.

2. Categories of Personal Information to Be Transferred
Among the personal information that has been lawfully collected and processed by the Company, only personal information necessary for business operations, personnel management, and the execution and performance of transactions and contracts will be transferred.

September 1, 2026 (scheduled)

5. Use and Protection of Personal Information After the Transfer
The New Entity will process the transferred personal information solely within the scope of the purposes for which such personal information was originally collected and used at the time of the transfer, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The New Entity will retain the personal information for the period necessary for business operations, personnel management, and the execution and performance of transactions and contracts.
The New Entity will implement and maintain appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to ensure the security and protection of personal information.
Except as otherwise permitted under applicable laws, the transferred personal information will not be used for purposes other than its original purpose, nor disclosed or provided to any third party.

6. Your rights, including the Right to Objection to the Transfer of Personal Information
You have the right to request access to, and the rectification or erasure of, your personal information, or restriction of processing of your personal information. If your personal information was collected based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to the transfer of your personal information. If you object to the transfer of your personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set forth below.
Please note, however, that failure to transfer personal information may result in limitations on the performance of contracts, the provision of services, or the continuation of employment or business-related relationships.
Please also be advised that you have the right to lodge a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority.
